"What if we never asked anyone for money? What if we asked them to have a cold beer and help us find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis?" As Julie's health continued to decline and all hope seemed lost, that one simple question echoed in my head. What if finding a cure really was that simple?
Julie's Dream Team was created on July 28, 2010. Our goal: By people simply living life, a cure for Cystic Fibrosis will be found. Our methods are simple: When you have dinner, you help us find a cure. When you have a beer, you'll help us find a cure. When you drive a golf ball 300 yards (or 200 in my case), you'll help us find a cure. When you simply live your life, you will help deliver a cure to the 30,000 (70,000 worldwide) that desperately need a cure.
I would encourage other CF Families to mimic our methods. Ask a local business if they'd be willing to dedicate a portion of sales...that you bring them...to the CF Foundation. You'd be surprised to learn how eager they'll be to help us find a cure.
Julie's Dream Team will NEVER profit from our efforts. The cause is too important. We will work tirelessly to secure venues for you and your family to enjoy life. We're honored that you would do so.
Thank you for visiting our site. You can join our team using the FaceBook link above. Together, we'll make a difference in the lives of thousands that suffer from Cystic Fibrosis. We will find a cure one beer at a time and the end, we'll make Julie's dream a reality.
